AnnMarie loves being 'queen'. She activated her reign within three days of being selected, by reading to students at a local day care. The following day, she shared one of her favorite books, "Giraffes Can't Dance" with a group of about thirty preschool students.

Her love of animals and all things in nature fuel her platform to Save the Animals.

AnnMarie founded her charity when she was 6 years old, incorporated in the State of Florida, a 501(c)(3) organization - AnnMarie's Animals.

Asked on June 22, 2021, AnnMarie reports that she loves to watch Wild Kratts tv show on PBS, create art, and play with legos, and her dog, Cookie.

Some of her favorite things are 

1. Being very fancy

2. Dressing up in beautiful clothes

3. Going to fancy restaurants

Most of all, she enjoys learning about animals.  On a recent swim with dolphins, she struggled with deciding if she loves water or land animals more... she never was able to reach a decision.

Being Little Miss BHS, she is thrilled to be queen and never forgets to act as such: giving compliments, sharing a kind word, serving the community of Branford, being an ambassador for her school, and loving as a friend to all.

Some of her favorite memories are singing at church with her friends, a group they call, The Gospel Girls.  Visiting zoos and aquariums throughout the Southeast; exploring her yard, which led to the rescue of a gopher tortoise; and one of the most magical experiences - seeing dolphins playing in the wild, in their natural environment.

AnnMarie aspires to be a veterinarian, although a summer family trip to Sea World has her thinking about taking her vet degree to Orlando and serving to care for the park animals there - rescue and rehabilitate.

A little girl with a big heart, that's for sure!
